Purchasing a projector screen does not need to be expensive.  Certainly, at the top end of the market, remotely controlled powered screens can retail for significant amounts of money; but if you or your business either do not have or don’t wish to spend a large amount on projector screens and equipment, then there are plenty of options for budget projector screens.  These are normally manually operated and simple to use.

The simplest types of projector screens are small, portable screens.  These are useful if you will need to use your projector screen in different rooms, or take it on the road for sales presentations and the like.  These can be floor mounted or tripod-mounted, and roll up into light and easily carried canisters for total convenience.  They are straightforward to assemble, too, so anyone can use them without any fuss.

The other most common type of budget projector screens are wall-mounted screens with a manual pulldown mechanism.  These can be mounted on the ceiling, but more typically attach to a wall, making them perfect for a meeting or conference room, or even a home cinema.  The advantage of this kind of projector screen is that it is ready to set up in the room of your choice, so there is no need to waste time setting up and mounting the screen prior to your presentation or film.  These pull-down screens are simple to use and, because they don’t have mechanized parts, are often more reliable than more expensive projector screens.

Business Projector Screens: There is a wide range of different types of projector screens for businesses, depending on your budget and needs.  These can range from simple manual screens to top-of-the-range computerized models, ensuring that whatever your requirements, there are business projector screens to meet them.

Before purchasing a projector screen for your business, there are a couple of considerations to bear in mind.  First, of course, is budget.  Will you be using your projection equipment frequently, or just once in a while?  Will it be used for important sales presentations or internal team meetings?  These factors will determine the priority you give to acquiring new equipment, and how much you are prepared to spend on your projector screen.

These considerations will also determine which of the many types of business projector screens you decide to purchase.  One popular option is to buy one or more small mobile screens.  The benefit of this type of projector screen is that you can quickly and easily set it up in any room in your office, or take the screen with you on visits to clients or other businesses.  Other types of projector screens are simple manual units which are inexpensive and simple to use.

At the other end of the range are powered screens that unroll at the touch of a button.  These are obviously more expensive, but lend an air of professionalism to any presentation.  If you plan to use your projection facility on a regular basis, it may well be that this option is worth investing in.
