So you’ve decided that a sports car rental is the way to go. You’ve made a good choice – there’s no better way to tour a new place than in a brand new rental sports car, with all of the freedom and luxury that choice provides. Now your only problem is trying to find out where to rent your BMW or Corvette.

The first and easiest place to look is on the Internet. Most car rental companies provide locations for pick up and drop off as well as daily and weekly rates on their websites. Traveling in Phoenix, Arizona? Road touring through the UK? Rentals are available no matter where you’re going, and the Internet is an invaluable tool in finding them.

If you’ve decided to go the car rental route at the last minute, many sports car rental services make themselves available to travelers landing at airports. Check around with airport staff – there’s a good chance a good rental service is within walking distance of your airport.

One advantage of working with web-ready companies is the delivery ability. You need a specific car, but can’t get to the rental service? Just check to see if your service provides delivery or collection to your location. You might be able to get a brand new sports car rental delivered to you at the airport for a small extra fee. So simply don’t worry about it. Thanks to the Internet, finding a good sports car rental is a simple and enjoyable task. Check it out today!

I Have Used a Rental Sports Car: I have used a rental sports car, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. That sports cars are enjoyable is not going to make the headline news, admittedly, but listen to this – it didn’t cost the earth.

Most drivers, even if they have never had the pleasure of driving a sports car can imagine what it would be like; the look of the thing – the sleek bodywork, the wide tires, the athletic poise. Plus, the driving position, low down and close to the ground, your body held firmly in place by the sporty seats. Also, of course, as it’s the whole point of a sports car, the way it performs on the road. That breathtaking surge of acceleration as you step on the gas, the ease at which you can overtake slower traffic, and the uncanny combination of effortless high-speed cruising on the straight, coupled with the limpet-like grip as you take the corner. Yes, I have used a rental sports car.

Most people, however, can also imagine the drawbacks of owning a sports car; the high insurance bill, the more frequent trips to the gas station, and the sheer impracticality of trying to fit this week’s grocery shopping in to it. Not to mention giving the children a lift to school. Are they going to sit on the roof?

Thus explains the advantages of renting a sports car. You get all the gain, but none of the pain. Once you’ve had your fill of the sports car experience you can return to driving your standard sedan.

It’s easier to hire a rental sports car than ever before. All of the major automobile rental companies offer sports car options. I have used a rental sports car, and will do so again and again.
